My 30th birthday was fast looming over the horizon and I wanted to make sure I put the effort in to celebrate. More time spent thinking about how to treat myself and celebrate, less time thinking that it is a farewell to my twenties!I became aware of the availability of vintage photography specialists when I visited to Rose Seidler House Vintage Fair in 2011. Photographer Sasha Dobies, who runs Sherbet Birdie Studios in Sydney that specialise in vintage pin up photography was at the fair showcasing her work. Ever since then, I had it in the back of my mind as something I'd like to do. So on 24th November I spent the day at her studio and got myself some piccies. A present from me, to me, for my birthday. I had a great time and was so thrilled with the photos! Lucy Topp did the make up on the day and brought to life the glamour of black eyeliner, red lips, and set hair. Such a basic combination but always looks so hot. I would absolutely recommend Sasha and Lucy if you are after vintage style photos and make up.
